Chimney Leak & Flashing Repair
Most chimney leaks start where the chimney meets the roof. We repair or replace the step and counter flashing, and fix any crown or masonry problems letting water in.

The joint between a chimney and a roof is one of the hardest places on a house to keep dry. The roof and the chimney move differently, water runs down against the masonry, and flashing has to bridge the gap.
When that flashing fails, water runs behind it and into the house. The fix is to replace the flashing properly, stepped into the shingles and counter-flashed into the brick, not to cover it in sealant.
Leaks can also come from the top of the chimney: a cracked crown, a missing cap, or porous mortar. We check all of it and repair what’s actually causing the problem.

Can't you just seal it with caulk?
Caulk might slow a leak for a while, but it fails. A lasting repair replaces the flashing and fixes the masonry problems that let water in.
